Advent Day of Reflection

with Best-Selling Author Chris Lowney

Charis Ministries Young Adult Advent Day of Reflection, Saturday, December 12, 10am-5pm, Loyola University Chicago, Lake Shore Campus, Klarchek Information Commons.

No one is Superman. God doesn’t ask us to be someone we’re not. Yet God has a heroic purpose for each one of us, and it’s up to us to answer the call. Advent is a time to prepare ourselves for the coming of Christ and to look for a purpose that is greater than ourselves.

Make the time to discover the roles God is calling us to fulfill. Join other adults in their 20s and 30s for a day of discussion, reflection, and prayer. This year, Charis Ministries welcomes Chris Lowney, best-selling author of Heroic Leadership: Best Practices from a 450-year-old Company that Changed the World and Heroic Living: Discover your Purpose and Change the World. A former Jesuit seminarian and investment banker, Chris will challenge our assumptions about what it means to lead, and encourage us to use Ignatian values to make choices that matter.

Register online at www.chrisministries.org. $30/person through November 30. $40/person December 1-7. You’re invited to bring your own lunch, or pay an additional $10 to have lunch provided. Sponsored by Charis Ministries.
